Curriculum
Our creative curriculum is based on the Connecticut State Department of Education Curriculum Assessment Framework including the NAEYC Accreditation Criteria, the NAEYC Early Childhood Code of Ethics.
Our staff provides enrichment activities including math, music, movement, science, and art. Our classrooms include computers, manipulative centers, art centers, free play areas, sinks, and child size washrooms.
Our Sunshine room is a large space where children can participate in many activities, including our new Joy of Books library.
Our playground is a wonderful space with a train playscape and train station, an outdoor classroom, bike area, basketball area, gardens where the children and teachers plant, swings, and other climbing structures.
Offering
We provide both full day and partial day options with a flexible schedule offered between 7am and 6pm. Tuition may be based on a sliding scale depending on individual family needs.
Our program includes children ages 3 to 6.
Before and after school care is also available for our kindergarteners and first graders.
Enrichment
Our enrichment program offers a variety of in house activities including music, language, science and nature. We also endeavor to provide the very best preschool field trip experiences for our children. In addition, Children's Adventure Center seeks out local artisans, musicians and performers who come to share their talents with our children.
